Bound is a 1996 neo-noir film about a woman who longs to escape her marriage to a Mafioso; when she meets the alluring drifter hired to renovate the next-door apartment, the two women begin an affair and hatch a scheme to make off with $2 million of Mafia money. It was the first film directed by the Wachowski brothers and earned them the chance to direct The Matrix.
