1:22:00
What did he do to you?
1:22:02
How did he cure you of your blindness?
1:22:04
I have already told you,
and you would not listen.

1:22:07
Why do you want to hear it again? Maybe
you, too, would like to be his disciples?

1:22:12
They insulted him and said:
1:22:14
You are that fellow's disciple,
but we are Moses' disciples!

1:22:19
We know that God spoke to Moses!
1:22:23
As for that fellow, however,
we do not even know where he comes from.

1:22:27
What a strange thing that is.
1:22:29
You do not know where he comes from,
but he cured me of my blindness.

1:22:32
We know
that God does not listen to sinners.

1:22:35
He does listen to people who respect him
and do what he wants them to do.

1:22:38
Since the beginning of the world...
1:22:40
nobody has heard of anyone
giving sight to a person born blind.

1:22:43
Unless this man came from God,
he would not be able to do a thing!

1:22:48
You were born and brought up in sin...
1:22:55
and you are trying to teach us?
1:23:01
And they expelled him from the synagogue.
1:23:21
When Jesus heard what had happened,
he found the man.

1:23:24
Do you believe in the Son of Man?
1:23:27
Tell me who he is, sir,
so that I can believe in him.

1:23:32
You have already seen him...
1:23:34
and he is the one
who is talking with you now.

1:23:41
I believe, Lord.
1:23:43
And he knelt down before Jesus.
1:23:46
I came to this world to judge...
1:23:49
so that the blind should see...
1:23:52
and those who see should become blind.
1:23:55
Some Pharisees who were there with him
heard him say this and asked him:

1:23:59
Surely you don't mean
that we are blind, too?
