:24:03
I am the real vine,
and my Father is the gardener.

:24:07
He breaks off every branch in me
that does not bear fruit...

:24:11
and he prunes every branch
that does bear fruit...

:24:15
so that it will be clean and bear more fruit.
:24:18
You have been made clean already
by the teaching I have given you.

:24:23
Remain united to me...
:24:27
and I will remain united to you.
:24:37
A branch cannot bear fruit by itself.
:24:40
It can do so only if it remains on the vine.
:24:43
In the same way, you cannot bear fruit
unless you remain in me.

:24:47
I am the vine, and you are the branches.
:24:54
Those who remain in me, and I in them,
will bear much fruit...

:24:57
for you can do nothing without me.
:24:59
Those who do not remain in me
are thrown out like a branch and dry up.

:25:05
Such branches are gathered up
and thrown into the fire...

:25:10
where they are burned.
:25:14
If you remain in me
and my words remain in you...

:25:17
then you will ask for anything you wish,
and you shall have it.

:25:22
My Father's glory is shown
by your bearing much fruit...

:25:26
and in this way, you become my disciples.
:25:30
I love you, just as the Father loves me.
:25:34
Remain in my love.
:25:37
If you obey my commands,
you will remain in my love...

:25:40
just as I have obeyed my Father's
commands, and remain in his love.

:25:45
I have told you this
so that my joy may be in you...

:25:49
and that your joy may be complete.
:25:51
My commandment is this:
Love one another, just as I love you.

:25:55
The greatest love you can have
for your friends is to give your life for them.

:25:59
And you are my friends
if you do what I command you.
