which contained gasoline and a detonator.

like he was crazy. Out of his mind.

yelling for passengers to get out of his way.

A policeman ran after him, but by that time...

Bicke was inside and had forced
the stewardesses to close the door.

fired through the door's window...

and killed the would-be hijacker.

His motive may never be known, but
authorities say that there's no question...
