parce que David s'était enfui.

de mon père et un fusil.
J'ai pris la voiture du voisin.
Je m'étais introduit chez eux
et j'avais trouvé les clés.
Je ne me souviens plus très bien.
J'ai fini par aller à Dallas.
Je suis allé bosser
et personne ne s'est pointé.
C'était le week-end
et ils ne travaillaient pas toujours.
En rentrant chez moi,
je suis tombé en panne d'essence.
Alors que je descendais la rue,
un bidon d'essence à la main,
quelqu'un s'est arrêté à ma hauteur.

I'd run away from home a couple

Ended up coming to Dallas.
I went to work and no one showed up.
Being a weekend, sometimes
they worked, sometimes they didn't.
On the way home, I ran out of gas.
And as I was walking down the street
with the gas can...
a person, at that time, pulled over.
